I’m a researcher at Cohere. Previously I was working with Cerebras on post-training and RL. I am currently interested in improving (and scaling) recipes to train and evaluate foundational models.
In an earlier life, I completed graduate school at McGill University and Mila, advised by Golnoosh Farnadi. Previously, I worked with NextAI, Defog, TribeAI, dresslife, in various areas and applications of ML.
My early years of research were shaped by my time at Ashoka, under guidance of Debayan Gupta. Outside work, I spend a fair bit of time playing tennis, discovering music, art and visiting local cafes.
